Our family had a delightful stay at Uros Samarana Uta Lodge. Cesar and Lucy made us feel right at home with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. We were welcomed with open arms, and our children, aged 7 and 11, were thrilled to be a part of the unique island lifestyle. One highlight for our kids was the boat ride with Cesar, where they got to wear traditional clothing and learn about the Uros culture firsthand. It was a fantastic experience that they'll never forget. Our youngest was fascinated by the intricate craftsmanship of the reed boats, and Cesar took the time to explain the artistry involved, sparking a newfound interest in indigenous traditions. We also appreciated the simple yet delicious meals prepared by Lucy. the kids especially enjoyed helping out in the kitchen and learning how to make traditional dishes. It was a wonderful way for them to connect with the local culture through food. We highly recommend it to families looking for a unique and immersive stay on the floating islands of Lake Titicaca.
